This EP has been a journey, where I have been trying to find a sound that feels fresh for me and where I've attempted to push my skills and knowledge to my next level. The whole process has been filled with movement. With the creation taking place in various locations, from art collectives/studios in Lisbon, to friends couches and living rooms, to a house with friends filled with shared joy in rural Portugal and finally at another house in rural Portugal where I will for the next coming months be calling My home. I named the EP as a reference to this last place. The place where the EP finished and where another chapter will begin.

Vale do Mos, which means the valley of the millstones, became
Mills Tone.

In the aftermath of putting the songs together I wanted it to resemble a journey. Where we are first introduced to the home and the light, which in turn is getting threatened by darkness, where conflict arises but later on resolves back to the peace.
